Icehouse Announce One-Off 'Live At The Fleet Steps' Show

After opening for Jimmy Barnes on his sold-out Working Class Man 40th anniversary tour, Icehouse are heading to Sydney for their sole special show at Sydney Harbour – Live at the Fleet Steps on Wednesday, 30 September. The show marks their only show in the city in 2026.

“Sydney Harbour is such a spectacular place and a Spring evening in September is a wonderful time of year to enjoy it,” remarked Icehouse singer Iva Davies.

He continued, “So, the ICEHOUSE band and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been invited to play on the harbour at Fleet Steps on September 30.

“With such a beautiful location, it will be a show to remember for us and for the audience. We are eagerly looking forward to it and hope to see you there!”

Opening for Icehouse at the Fleet Steps are Central Coast rockers Little Quirks, who have quickly garnered a reputation as one of Australia’s most in-demand live bands.

Telstra members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 20 May, at 11 am local time – head to the Telstra Plus website – ahead of the Foxtel and Icehouse pre-sales taking place at 12 pm.

The general sale commences on Monday, 25 May, at 12 pm local time via Ticketek. Tickets are expected to be snapped up quickly, so fans are advised to buy tickets as soon as possible.

Recognised for an abundance of hits, including Great Southern Land, Electric Blue, Crazy, Hey Little Girl, No Promises, We Can Get Together, Man of Colours, Nothing Too Serious and many more, Icehouse have enjoyed a career that’s spanned over four decades.

Their Live at the Fleet Steps show won’t be the first time that Icehouse have performed on Sydney Harbour.

In December 2023, they played at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt as part of the venue and Live Nation’s On The Steps summer music program, where they were joined by special guests Sneaky Sound System and Karen Lee Andrews. That show commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House.
