ICF Drops Scorching Summer Festival Lineup
A summer staple, ICF is returning to Perth's CBD with an extended season.

ICF (formerly Ice Cream Factory) has become synonymous with Perth/Boorloo’s summer season, with this year promising to be the festival’s “hottest” yet.
Held in Perth’s CBD on the old site of the Peters Ice Cream Factory (the festival’s namesake), ICF promises a unique festival performance experience running across December. At least, it used to only run across December.
2024’s iteration will see the festival extend to a massive 18-night run, with the season spanning from 22 November until 15 February next year.
Following a week of teasing headliners, the full ICF lineup has dropped today (28 October), and as promised is packed with some of the “hottest” local, national and international acts.
The festival will host international talent such as Irish indie trio Two Door Cinema Club, British house pioneers Patrick Topping and Hot Chip, and DJ royalty Solomun. Always one to hold our suspense, ICF has also secured a secret Canadian headlining act which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Of course, ICF provides a delicious mix of homegrown talent as well, with this year’s lineup including Cub Sport, The Jungle Giants, Peking Duk, and Vera Blue, to name a few. Perth Symphony Orchestra will also be taking to the stage with an orchestral rendition of some of acclaimed English DJ Fred again..’s hits.

ICF doesn’t just promise an incredible music, with the custom-built event space spanning three stages and multiple levels, with bars, eateries and activities to explore.
Pre-sale tickets are up from Tuesday 29 October, and we would recommend not waiting too long, with ICF notorious for selling out quick. Tickets for Solomun are expected to be especially sought-after, with the DJ’s December show in Sydney/Warrane selling out in under an hour.
With a lineup like this, ICF24 is set to be a scorcher!
