"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!"
The line-up for massive US festival When We Were Young dropped yesterday, featuring pretty much every single ‘90s and early ‘00s emo band you could think of, but there were a few notable acts left off the bill.
Since the announcement, Miss May I vocalist Levi Benton has shared an edited version of the poster dubbed ‘When We Weren’t Invited’ that features some of the acts who didn’t make the cut, including his band:

It seems one band featured on the joke poster isn’t going down without a fight.
When the festival was first announced, I Set My Friends On Fire shared the poster and had a dig at promoter Live Nation:
They then proceeded to troll the official When We Were Young Facebook page comments section:
On their own page, they jokingly started booking their own car park event, tagging a few other bands in the process:
The thread below their own post is wild and all points to them not letting up anytime soon.
“WE ARE GOING TO MEME OURSELVES ONTO THIS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER,” they said.
If that wasn’t enough, they’ve also registered the URL www.WhenWeWereYoungFest.com and redirected it to their Facebook page.
The official website is www.WhenWeWereYoungFestival.com, so they probably won’t care too much, but it’ll be interesting to see how far I Set My Friends On Fire are willing to take the gimmick.
