'I Really Didn’t Expect To Be Coming Back': Patti Smith Announces Bluesfest Sideshows

Don't miss this.

More Patti Smith Patti Smith

The legendary Patti Smith has today announced a run of sideshow dates for 2020.

Smith will be in the country as part of her appearance at next year's Byron Bay Bluesfest

She was last in the country in 2017 as part of Bluesfest and for a handful of headline dates, which saw her perform her 1975 classic Horses as a farewell to Australian audiences

"I really didn’t expect to be coming back, but it was just such a great trip," said Smith of her impending visit.

"I really thought that I wouldn’t be able to come back – so I’m delighted that I was wrong."

Smith's sideshows will kick off at Sydney's Enmore Theatre for a two-night run from Wednesday 15 April and then head to Melbourne's The Forum for a further two shows.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from 10am on Monday 28 October. Head to theGuide for all the info.
