I.C.S Vortex, former bassist of Dimmu Borgir has reportedly rejoined his previous musical outfit, Norwegian progressive black metallers, Borknagar.
Vortex (real name: Simen Hestnæs), previously played in the Bergen based band before leaving in 2000 to concentrate solely on his main role with Dimmu Borgir.

However, recent news reports suggest Vortex has officially rejoined the group in a permanent capacity. Gunshyassassin.com writes about the return.
"I.C.S. Vortex has officially returned to Borknagar…Vortex will handle the bass as well as doing vocals together with Vintersorg."
The 6'7' musician has been a touring member of Borknagar since last year after leaving Dimmu Borgir in differing circumstances. The band declaring at the time that Vortex, along with keyboardist Mustis had quit the group, with the latter later suggesting the two were in fact fired.
