Thanks to APRA AMCOS initiative SongHubs
Aussie-born, LA-based talent Hugh Sheridan was in the music scene long before his days on Packed To The Rafters and House Husbands, and after dropping his debut solo album in 2009, he’s just released a new single, co-written by local favourite Kate Miller-Heidke.
The new song, I Need You, came about after the pair met on the set of ABC comedy opera miniseries The Divorce in 2015 and then were both invited to attend APRA AMCOS initiative SongHubs – a camp for emerging and established songwriters.
The single was written for Sheridan’s new act, California Crooners Club, and was released via Facebook with a music video last week.
Sheridan’s jazz influence comes from his father, Denis Sheridan, who was a revered member of the community and also Unley’s mayor in the ‘80s.

I Need You will appear on California Crooners Club’s debut album mid-2017.
