If you're into house, then you definitely should be into HOT NATURED. This Deep House super-group - consisting of life-long legends; Lee Foss, Jamie Jones and Infinity Ink - are leading the pack with tactful and intelligent thought processes towards all that is vibey in this late-night genre.
After a number of bootlegs, remixes and a couple of huge singles - their debut LP, Different Sides Of The Sun, is out. And thanks for Pitchfork Advance - you can stream the album before you buy it! If that sounds like you're thing, just follow this link.
Released today (2nd September) through Fffr/Big Beat, the album contains overarching themes of/references to celestial spirituality, transcendence, and Egyptian pharaohs. The UK trio even managed to get a myriad of vocalists on board; including Egyptian Lover, Kenny Glasgow of Art Department, S.Y.F. of Azari & III, Roisin Murphy, and Anabel Englund.
As dance music continues to explode worldwide, audiences are becoming more receptive to these kinds of deep house driven sounds - and Hot Natured just seems to be cashing in on it. With tasteful melodies and lyrics, as well as heavy rhythms - Different Sides Of The Sun might as well just considered really well constructed Pop music.
So get down/over to that stream and then grab a copy here. This release will keep you dancing for weeks and months to come. Summer is here.
