Hot Milk Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Hot Milk return to Australia this May after making their debut in 2023 while supporting Foo Fighters on tour.

British alt-rock party starters Hot Milk will return to Australia this May, today announcing a tour along the East Coast.

It’s a short but sweet tour, beginning at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Wednesday, 20 May. The tour continues at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday, 21 May, and concludes at Brisbane’s Crowbar on Saturday, 23 May. For the run, Hot Milk will be joined by Melbourne rockers Bad//Love.

Born in a Manchester bar in 2016, band members Hannah Mee and Jim Shaw have developed a reputation for incendiary live shows, selling out headline shows across the UK, Europe and the US. The band made their Australian debut in 2023, supporting Foo Fighters on a massive national tour, as well as playing their first headline shows Down Under.

Since their 2016 formation, Hot Milk have released three EPs and two albums. The Are You Feeling Alive? EP dropped in 2019, followed by I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M DEAD and The King And Queen Of Gasoline in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

In 2023, Hot Milk released their debut album, A Call To The Void, followed by Corporation P.O.P last year. With a genre-blending sound the duo describe as “emo powerpop,” Hot Milk have created an irresistible catalogue of hard-hitting alt-rock, combining elements of pop, rock, and post-hardcore.

Additionally, Hot Milk stand out from a lyrical perspective. While they focus on relationship matters, mental health, self-sabotage, and other issues tackled by many other bands, the duo has also addressed social and political issues in their music, including capitalism, LGBTQIA+ rights, gun violence, and the climate crisis.

Hannah Mee holds a master’s degree in politics and has attributed the themes to her studies and love of punk rock.
