"I’m over the moon to secure their publishing (the majority of it anyway!)."
Just a week after their highly-anticipated new album, PAINT, hit shelves, Holy Holy's Tim Carroll, Ryan Strathie and Matt Redlich have announced the incredible news that they've signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing.
The band's Oscar Dawson is separately signed to Native Tongue Publishing, while the rest of the band's publishing deal to UMP will see them sit next to Gang Of Youths, Peking Duk, Alex The Astronaut and Jessica Mauboy.
Holy Holy singer Tim Carroll says, "I'm excited to have been signed to Universal Publishing in time for [PAINT's] release. Like many people on our team, Universal has come with a passion for music and the craft of songwriting. The new team have a wealth of experience and it would seem, some new approaches to how publishing is managed in Australia. I look forward to working with them into the future as I continue to develop as a songwriter."
UMP's Arwen Curson also adds, "I've been a fan of this band for a long while, so of course I’m over the moon to secure their publishing (the majority of it anyway!). Every track is so very carefully crafted to be signature Holy Holy, and underneath all the exquisite layers lie the most beautiful songs that will, no doubt, stand the test of time.
