It's been a huge year for local talent Sarah Aarons.

When Aussie cinemas eventually re-open, there’ll be a slew of new films for cinephiles to enjoy, including Tracee Ellis RossThe High Note, which features a track co-written by local songwriter Sarah Aarons.

After recently collaborating with the likes Donald Glover, Justin Timberlake and more, and winning big at APRA AMCOS' first global music awards back in February, Aarons’ co-write with Greg Kurstin (Paul McCartney, Pink, Celine Dion), Love Myself, has landed itself prime placement on The High Note, sung by Ross during a pivotal moment in the film.

Expected to arrive in Australian cinemas “soon”, the flick, which is set in “the dazzling world of the LA music scene”, stars Ross as superstar Grace Davis alongside her personal assistant Maggie (Dakota Johnson) and manager, played by Ice Cube.
