That's Circa Waves and not Circa Survive.

Liverpool's Circa Waves released their debut album, 'Young Chasers' in March of this year, but come March of 2017, the four-piece rock outfit will be releasing their second record and they have something to share from that release, 'Wake Up'.

With the co-production skills of Circa Waves singer/guitarist, Kieran Shudall, and by working with studio legend Alan Moulder (Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, and an insane amount of other bands), the massive new single that is ‘Wake Up’ delivers walls of fuzzy guitars backing up Shudall’s strong vocal melodies, with some simple yet tight drumming and surging bass lines. And I'll be damned if I don't love the ever-loving shit out of this song. It's upbeat yet simple, it's catchy yet far from being the poppiest rock song you'll hear this year, and perhaps most importantly, it's just a lot of fun to listen to. Especially the song's epic chorus!

Wake Up’ is the first song and first single to be taken from the quartet's second record, 'Different Creatures', which is being released on March 10th, via Dew Process, just over two weeks away from being released a full year on from their debut full-length. Yet if 'Wake Up' is anything to go off, then this new record should leave the UK bands debut album for dead. Check out the album's track listing and 'Wake Up' below.
