Step on up, aspiring photographers!
Australia’s favourite regional touring festival, Groovin The Moo, has announced the first artist appearing on the 2017 line-up along with a kick-ass photography competition.
Virginian hip hop hero D.R.A.M has been locked in for next year's festival, and the Shoot The Moo competition is giving two lucky punters a chance to meet'n'snap the broccoli-loving emcee.
Entries are now open to budding photographers aged between 16-25, with the winner rewarded with two tickets to your local Groovin The Moo and guidance from the festival’s photography team.
Shoot The Moo 2016 People’s Choice Winner Brad Saegenschnitter says the competition has opened plenty of doors and helped refine his skills.
"The experience and practice I picked up from Shoot The Moo has recently seen me shooting for Thundamentals on their Never Say Never Tour," he said in a statement.

"I learnt so much when photographing from the pits… it helped to develop my photography immensely [and] I really got to know my camera so much more and how to operate it in such a fast-paced environment."
Bendigo Shoot The Moo 2016 winner Jacob Collings says the opportunity to snap one of Australia's biggest festivals alongside seasoned photographers was a truly humbling experience.
“My images from the day were shared by the likes of What So Not, Harts, George Maple and Remi, which provided exposure of my images on a bigger scale… makes you feel kinda fuzzy to see something you've created be appreciated by a massive audience!" Collings said.
