Hellbound Metal Cruise Sells Out In Seven Minutes

Tickets to the inaugural Hellbound metal cruise have completely sold out, and sold out quickly.

Tickets flew out of the cabins yesterday (12 May), with Hellbound selling out in just seven minutes during its pre-sale.

Hellbound will bring a three-night extravaganza of Australian heavy music to the seas, transforming the luxury cruise ship, Carnival Splendor, into a metalhead’s paradise. Destroy All Lines has teamed up with Choose Your Cruise for the epic event, departing from Sydney on Thursday, 22 October 2026, and returning on Sunday, 25 October 2026.

The inaugural event is headlined by Australian metal royalty and one of our most successful heavy exports, Parkway Drive. It also stars some of the country’s most beloved heavy and alternative acts, such as Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect, Make Them Suffer, and In Hearts Wake.

As well as the more established acts, Hellbound has locked in some of Australia’s most exciting up-and-comers, including Belle Haven, Diamond Construct, Future Static, Reliqa, The Beautiful Monument, Windwaker, and more. Plus, Taking Back Saturday DJs and the official Hellbound stage host, Manov, will keep the party going.

In addition to the live music from the bands and DJ sets, the cruise will be all about getting punters involved. It will host themed nights, artist-hosted experiences, an onboard fitness centre, Cloud 9 Spa, and daily fitness classes. Tickets sold to the 3,000 punters will cover entertainment, accommodation, and food.

Upon the announcement of the Hellbound line-up two weeks ago, Chris O’Brien, Head Promoter of Destroy All Lines, said: “I have been in discussion with Choose Your Cruise for years discussing a way to launch a Metal Cruise in Australia, and I’m absolutely thrilled we have managed to pull this off.

Marius [Els], Mick [Manov] and his team are experts in their field, and we couldn’t be in safer hands having them produce this incredible Festival on the open seas for our fans.”
