Harmony coast through verse, chorus and coda like a tropical cyclone. Their sound is a mongrel concoction of gallows blues and balladry, but offset by a glorious three part gospel vocal ensemble, that lifts the songs out of the dark and into thrilling, yet haunting territory.
Featuring Tom Lyngcoln (The Nation Blue), Alex Kastaniotis and Jon Chapple, Harmony simmer down all the intensity of their previous ensembles into a simple, brooding and understated heartbreaker, while Amanda Roff (Ukeladies), Quinn Veldhuis and Maria Kastaniotis tear the arrangements apart with sweet reprise.
Formed in mid 2010, Harmony have been harvesting stray souls in pubs around Melbourne since November and are set to launch their debut limited edition 7" 'Cacophonous Vibes' at The Toff in Town with very special guests on March 26th.
