Hans Zimmer Announces 2025 Australian Tour

Legendary film composer Hans Zimmer will make his grand return to Australia this April.

Heading Down Under for the first time in six years, the award-winning composer will deliver a “groundbreaking audio and visual show” in arenas in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Of course, as anyone acquainted with Zimmer’s shows knows, he doesn’t perform alone. He’ll come to Australia with his incredible 19-piece live band and a full orchestra.

The upcoming tour promises “newly arranged concert suites,” with the composer bringing iconic scores from cinema’s biggest, most beloved films to stages along the East Coast. This time, fans will get to watch awe-inspiring renditions of scores from Gladiator, Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai and Dune.

An Australian singer is set to join Zimmer on stage: Lisa Gerrard, who will perform a selection of songs she co-wrote with Zimmer, such as Mission: Impossible, Black Hawk Down, and Gladiator, the latter of which won her a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination.

The tour begins at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 24 April, before heading to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, 26 April, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, 29 April.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 11 February, from 11 am local time via the Frontier Touring website. The general sale begins on Wednesday, 12 February, at 12 pm local time via the Frontier Touring and Hans Zimmer websites.
