Hans Zimmer Adds Extra Shows To 2026 Australian Tour

Extra shows have been added in Melbourne and Sydney following phenomenal demand for pre-sale tickets.

Due to overwhelming demand for pre-sale tickets, another two shows have been added to Hans Zimmer’s upcoming tour of Australia. Second shows have been added in Sydney and Melbourne to meet the demand for tickets.

The renowned, multiple Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning composer returns to Australia this October, where he’ll present his brand-new visionary arena production, Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level.

A second and final show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena will take place on Sunday, 25 October, following the previously announced concert on Saturday, 24 October. In Sydney, a second show is locked in for Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday, 29 October, following the previously announced show of Wednesday, 28 October.

For the tour, Zimmer will be accompanied by a phenomenal 19-piece live band and the acclaimed vocals of Australian musician Lisa Gerrard. His incredible body of work includes scores for films such as Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, Inception, F1, The Dark Knight trilogy, Dune, The Last Samurai, The Lion King, and more.

“This show represents the next evolution of how film music can be experienced live,” Zimmer said of the tour.

“I want fans to feel like they’re at a rave party or riding a roller coaster. For me, every show is a new voyage of discovery. The greatest challenge is the status quo – you have to do everything in your power to leave it behind and find and create something new.”
