Less than a year since the release of her critically-acclaimed show Nanette, Hannah Gadsby has announced her brand new special, Douglas, will be coming to Netflix. 

The Tasmanian comic revealed the news at LA's FYSEE event, confirming that the special will hit the streaming service in 2020.

“I’m so excited to announce today that Douglas will be released on Netflix in 2020," Gadsby said.


"I’m really enjoying touring with the live performance, but there will be places in the world that I won’t be able to visit, so it’s wonderful that Netflix will bring the show to every corner of the globe."

It comes after Gadsby premiered Douglas in Melbourne in March and will tour the show across Australia in December.
