Fearless former leaders of themusic.com.au The Handshake Agency have released the debut episode of their industry insider podcast, Press Play.
Presented via Euphony, the weekly podcast looks bast at the last seven days of new music releases from all over Australia and the world. Hosted by The Green Room's Tiana Speter and featuring The Music’s Group Managing Editor for over 20 years Andrew Mast, the series will feature some of the country's biggest names from the industry coming on to break down the next big hits of the music landscape.
“It’s an exciting time at Euphony as we explore a number of new music podcast formats to launch in the coming months," Mast explained of the project. "Press Play sits well next to our successful Rewind With Steve Bell and Green Room podcasts and we hope it and the associated Press Play Mixtape playlist will become a weekly staple for all music fans.”
Speter was equally excited, adding, "Press Play won’t just ramble off a press release, we’ll take you into all the new releases with some laughs, stories and, most importantly, some epic music along the way.”
She continued, “In a time when we’ve all been so disconnected, celebrating new music and the people in and around the industry is something we all could do with a lot more."
Euphony co-founder Craig Treweek also said “With over 20 years presenting album and single reviews in the written form we are excited to now create the Press Play podcast as part of our Euphony suite.
