It'll be the band's first Aussie shows since their heaps-successful 'Colourblind' tour earlier this year
Canberra rockers Hands Like Houses have released a new single and announced a four-date local headline tour to date to commemorate its arrival.
The impending jaunt comes on the heels of their current tour of the United States (with the Vans Warped Tour), marking their first Aussie shows since their super-well-received Colourblind tour back in February.
It kicks off with the sole 18+ show of the run, at Melbourne's 170 Russell, on Friday 6 October, before the boys take on a trio of licensed all-ages affairs in Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane.
The band's thunderous new track, Drift, which you can listen to below, is "about a momentary lapse in momentum, where everything is still long enough to question where you're going, where you've been and how they are somehow supposed to connect in the middle", frontman Trenton Woodley explained in a statement.
