Local heavy imprint Halfcut Records has signed a new deal, which will see the company team up with Distort for international releases.

Local heavy imprint Halfcut Records has signed a new deal, which will see the company team up with Distort for international releases.

The Toronto based company – with a prominent focus on punk and hardcore – will begin the Shock partnership with the release of Belle Haven’s debut album, ‘Everything Ablaze’, in 2015.

“We are really excited to have Shock's imprint label Halfcut released in Canada via Distort. Speaking to Greg on a regular basis and sharing our passion for new music it made complete sense. Distort and Shock have had a long standing relationship over the years and the team and I look forward to working closely with Distort in the future,” Shock Label Director, Mick Tarbuk comments.
