US garage-surf-rock trio and recent Smack Face Records signees Guantanamo Baywatch have announced the dates for their debut run of shows in Australia, lining up seven performances and an after-party up and down the east coast this April.

The band's inaugural southern sojourn comes just ahead of the release of new studio full-length Darling… It's Too Late, which is due for release locally on 15 May via Smack Face Music, and sees them get the party started at Geelong's Barwon Club on Wednesday, 8 April. From there, Guantanamo Baywatch head to The Tote, in Collingwood (9 April), The Eastern Hotel, in Ballarat (10 April), an all-ages show in Moonee Ponds (11 April), The Phoenix, in Canberra (16 April), Sydney's Oxford Art Factory (17 April) and Waywards (same day, for the after-party), and wrap it all up at Rad, in Wollongong, on Saturday, 18 April.
