Portland's Grouper, who has released a stunning array of music over the years, and Brisbane sound artist Lawrence English, who runs the great Room 40 label as well as being a performer himself, have teamed up to become Slow Walkers and have just announced details of their debut LP.
Their eponymous debut LP will be released this August through the Los Angeles-based Peak Oil label and is limited to just 400 copies. The pre-orders from the Peak Oil website are already sold out, so you'll have to keep an eye on your local record store to grab one of the snazzy gold-foiled releases.
The official release date for the record is Tuesday 20 August.
The project is said to be “born from a mutual fascination with horrific depictions of the human present and future” and you can hear a little of what the duo are going for in this tune Wake.
