The US pop-punk pioneers bring 'Revolution Radio' Down Under in April/May
US pop-punk giants Green Day have confirmed a string of Australian dates in support of their latest record, Revolution Radio, for next April and May.
The pioneers return following their headline slot at 2014’s Soundwave, the ending of which saw them take a break to recharge before bursting back onto the scene in August with twisted single Bang Bang and an album announcement.
The Rock'N'Roll Hall Of Fame inductees kick off their first Australian headline tour since 2009’s 21st Century Breakdown stint at Perth Arena on Sunday 30 April before unleashing new material and hits Basket Case, American Idiot and more across Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Revolution Radio drops Oct 7 via Warner Music, with frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s also set to appear as the star of US film Ordinary World this month.
