Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will star opposite Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester in the upcoming independent drama 'Like Sunday, Like Rain.'
Directed by Frank Whaley, the film tells "the story of a struggling musician (Meester) who becomes the guardian of a 12-year-old music prodigy one summer," according to Deadline. Armstrong will play the role of Meester's boyfriend.
