A team of Adelaide musicians have come together to throw a Bushfire Benefit Concert early next month.
Going down on Sunday 12 January at The Gov, all proceeds will be donated directly to those most affected by the 2019 Adelaide Hills bushfires with event organisers partnering with the Hut Community Centre based in Aldgate to ensure all funds are channeled to those in immediate need.
Organisers say the response from those offering to show their support has been overwhelming with The Yearlings Band, Ollie English, Don Morrison, Kelly Menhennett, Courtney Robb & Snooks La Vie (ex Hiptones), Nikko Kipridis (Streamliners), Andra Cordell and Satisfaction - The Stones Show, all confirmed on the line-up and donating their time for the cause.
The concert comes following the announcement of a stack of bushfire benefit gigs with Falls Festival acts Halsey, YUNGBLUD and Peking Duk all playing fundraising shows in Melbourne over the weekend, and Lime Cordiale, Totally Unicorn, Bad//Dreems and more scheduled to perform tonight.
Peking Duk's show at The Espy raised a huge $50,000.
