But as usual, Gotye stole the show
Alberts' David Albert has started another couple of AC/DC album and tour rumours at today's ARIA #1 Ceremony, which were otherwise dominated by Gotye.
Held in Sydney, it was the return of the ceremony - after a two year absence - and it recognises local artists who have achieved a number one album, single or DVD.
Accepting AC/DC's award for their number one DVD Live At River Plate, David Albert of the label and publishing house Alberts, said that he had tried to get the band, notoriously ceremony-shy, to come to the event before saying that he hoped to have them at one the next ARIA Awards.
He also said that there, "Will hopefully be some big news for a new album or new tour [next year]."

There were also appearances by Gotye - who seems increasingly comfortable with photographers as he juggled his awards - and Missy Higgins. Reality TV show graduates Karise Eden and Reece Mastin accepted awards and performed.
