Gorillaz To Headline 2021 Splendour In The Grass Festival

Gorillaz have been confirmed to join the 2021 Splendour In The Grass festival line-up as one of the headline acts.

Just weeks after calling off the 2020 event, organisers of the Byron Bay festival have confirmed the UK giants will headline the 2021 festival alongside Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes, who were both named on this year's line-up.

Gorillaz will step in for Sydney's Flume who is not available for 2021, which will go ahead from 23-25 July at North Byron Parklands.

Gorillaz have spent 2020 working on the ongoing Song Machine series, with the first season to wrap up in October. The project has featured some huge names like Skepta, Peter Hook and Slaves.

The full 2021 line-up is expected to be released early next year. All tickets purchased for Splendour 2020 will be valid for next year.
