The new Good Times Festival has been moved once more due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The festival, which is the work of the team behind the popular Strawberry Fields festival, will now move to its third date and take place across 24 and 25 September, instead of 30 and 31 July as planned due to the current COVID-19 situation in Victoria and New South Wales.

The festival was originally due to take place in Tocumwal (just on the New South Wales border, around an hour's drive from Shepparton) across 18-19 June.

Josh Teskey & Ash Grunwald (who released their collaboration album, Push The Blues Away, late last year) will no longer be joining this year's event - though they have been locked in for the 2022 festival. Sam Teskey has been locked in as replacement.

Guitarist of R&B/Soul outfit The Teskey Brothers and Grammy-nominated engineer, Teskey announced earlier this month that he is set to release his first ever solo album.

Entitled Cycles, the singer revealed the album is slated for release Friday 8 October, and will celebrate the launch of the LP with a nationwide tour later that month.

Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Surprise Chef, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Benny Walker, BUMPY, Sagamore, IZY and Anna Scionti will all remain on the 2021 line-up.

“Our team, artists and the local community are committed to ensuring the Good Times roll in Tocumwal this September ,” said Good Times co-promoter Tara Benney.

“We appreciate everyone’s unwavering patience and support. Hold on to your tickets – every dollar raised goes back to the local community."
