Featuring Happy Mondays, Beach House and more

More Happy Mondays Happy Mondays Profile

Beloved Victorian music festival Golden Plains has unveiled another eclectic line-up, with a slew of international and local artists confirmed for the 2019 event.

Headlined by English alt-rockers Happy Mondays, US pop duo Beach House, acclaimed British producer Four Tet and hip hop favourites The Internet, next year’s festival will return to Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from 9 – 11 March.

Here’s the first line-up in full:

Happy Mondays, Beach House, Four Tet, The Internet, The Jesus & Mary Chain, DJ Harvey, Magic Dirt, Marlon Williams, Confidence Man, Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO, Liz Phair, Khruangbin, Amp Fiddler, Rhye, Millú & Pjenné, Gregor, Hatchie, Hieroglyphic Being, Honey, Raw Humps, Horatio Luna, DRMNGNOW, The Living Eyes, Flohio, Danny Krivit, Shannon & The Clams

The ticket ballot is now open until 10:13pm next Tuesday, October 23 via the Golden Plains website, with organisers also revealing some serious anti-scalping protection.

Tickets to Golden Plains Thirteen will be protected under the Major Events Act, meaning it's an “offence to sell, advertise or offer to resell a Golden Plains ticket for more than 10% above its face value purchase price”.
