Golden Plains Adds US Singer Robin S. To 2025 Lineup

The 2025 edition of Golden Plains has expanded ever so slightly, with organisers welcoming Robin S. to the lineup alongside tickets going on sale.

The nascent lineup addition comes just under two weeks since the festival revealed the stellar lineup for its 17th edition, with the acclaimed American singer joining the eclectic bill as a late entry.

Robin, who first appeared on the music scene in 1990 under her birth name Robin Stone, rose to fame with a handful of charting house singles, including 'What I Do Best' 'Luv 4 Luv', and 'Show Me Love', with the latter occasionally being (understandably) confused with Swedish musician Robyn’s 1997 song of the same name.

The announcement comes just as tickets for the festival become available, with tickets on sale as of 11am on Wednesday, October 30th.

This year’s Golden Plains lineup is headlined by the stunning international triumverate of PJ Harvey, Fontaines D.C., and 2manydjs, with Harvey’s long-awaited return to Australia in support of 2023’s I Inside the Old Year Dying set to be her first local visit since 2017.

The lineup continues with a multitude of impressive local and international acts, including Wet Kiss, Durand Jones & The Indications, Magdalena Bay, Osees, and acclaimed Northern Irish hip-hop act Kneecap.

In addition to Thelma Plum, Sun Ra Arkestra, Skeleten, Mulga Bore Hard Rock, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Grace Cummings, Zjoso, CCL, Adriana, and more, it's a dizzying lineup that exemplifies what it is that makes the Golden Plains experience so beloved.
