Gold Panda Announces Golden Plains Sideshows

The Golden Plains Lucky 8 lineup dropped a few weeks ago, and grew to popularity rather quickly, due to the variety and prestige of the acts that make up the bill. One of these artists goes by the name of GOLD PANDA, and we couldn't be more excited to check him out; especially now that he's just announced three very intimate sideshows!

The UK producer (also known as Derwin Powers now residing in Berlin) has been on the scene for a good four years now. Within that time frame, he's released 7" singles, EPs and two full-length records - his latest being Half Of Where You Live that came out on Ghostly earlier this year. A tale of his personal experiences with wanderlust, it's a feel-good record made up of silky, watery beats and surely isn't afraid to be a little flirtatious with elegant dance music.

His first Australian live show took place early 2011, so we couldn't be more excited to welcome him back with open arms as he comes back for not only Golden Plains Lucky 8, but a Sydney, Melbourne and Perth show too!
