An online fund has been created to help support Sarah Kelly, the wife of Neurosis' Scott Kelly, following news of her admission to hospital last week.
Kelly was rushed to an Oregon medical centre after being unable to walk or see earlier this month.
An extract, written by fund creator Karrie Morton, reads:
"Sarah woke up on Tuesday March 24th unable to walk or see. She was immediately admitted to Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, OR. As of today, (Sunday March 29th), the doctors are still not able to identify an exact diagnosis."
