Blues and BBQ, together forever.

Prep your ears and your bellies because the Girrakool Blues Festival and BBQ just dropped details for its 2018 event.

For the third year running the March event is bringing a bunch of International artists as well as Australia’s best blues outfits to the stage including Kevin Borich Express, The Backsliders, Bondi Cigars and a stack more.

The Central Coast festival is also poised to host its highly-competitive BBQ Stand Off which will see 30 teams from across the county battle it out for the title of BBQ champion and a share of $3,000 prize money.

“After carefully selecting and hand picking the best in blues, food and culture, we feel that we have come up with a memorable weekend that can only enrich the soul,” Girrakool Blues Festival Director, Bruce Johnson said.

In addition to the swine and songs they’ll be a bunch of family-friendly activities like basket weaving and dance performances.
