Taking place this September.

Monday just got a whole lot better because Brisbane's much-loved Pub Choir has just announced a national tour.

Pub Choir is presented and curated by Astrid Jorgensen, Waveney Yasso, and Megan Bartholomew, and sees punters come along, stand in the crowd and learn the parts for a classic track - and they're often joined by a special guests, which so far has included members from Powderfinger, Killing Heidi, The Go-Betweens, Regurgitator, The Grates, Ball Park Music and more.

For their national run, Pub Choir will be joined by Ben Lee for all shows. Known for tracks like Cigarettes Will Kill You and Catch My Disease, Lee has promised to bring along a stack mystery guests and musical besties for the shows.

“From the first moment I became aware of Pub Choir I realised we had very similar missions," shares Lee.

"We both aspire to fill a room of adults with a sense of connection, mischief, joy and inspiration. And we both believe singing together is the best way to make the mysterious and magical vibe we are chasing happen. I am so excited for this collaboration."

“Ben Lee is an international music LEGEND," adds Jorgensen. "He’s been making the world sing for decades, which is exactly what Pub Choir aspires to do. We feel ridiculously lucky to hit the road with such an icon, his music buddies... and thousands of new singing friends across Australia!"

Pub Choir's tour will kick off at The Forum in Melbourne on 1 September before heading to The Tivoli in Brisbane, Astor Theatre in Perth, HQ in Adelaide and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.

2019 is shaping up to be a huge year for Pub Choir, who have recently been announced on this year's Splendour In The Grass line-up, announced a regional Queensland tour and have just shared that they'll be heading to the US in July.
