Germany's The Ocean Announce Australian Tour

Progressive, post-metal band The Ocean have announced a headline tour of Australia.

The German outfit have confirmed seven shows for next April, with dates locked in for Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. Tickets for the tour go on sale 10am Monday 29 December.

The news comes a few months after the band claimed initial plans to tour right at the beginning of next year were cancelled over a dispute with a promoter.

The tour will see the stalwart band perform their acclaimed 2013 album Palagial in full. The LP was The Ocean's sixth since they formed in the early 2000s.

The Berlin-based entity first toured our shores back in 2012.
