Gerard Way has announced that he has recently headed back into the studio to begin work on new material.
The singer announced he was entering the studio with producer Mike Elizondo (Avenged Sevenfold, Mastodon, Tegan And Sarah), with the following Tweet the other day.
"Recording session today with Mike Elizondo and his crew of really rad people. What will happen? Who knows!"
Expect more news about the follow up to last year's 'Hesitant Alien', or at least a brand new single in the not too distant future.
