George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic Announce Sydney Show

The funk legends are headed Down Under in September to play Qld's Caloundra Music Festival.

Legendary funk musician George Clinton and his iconic back-up, Parliament Funkadelic, have added a standalone Sydney show to their upcoming visit to Australia this September.

The veteran performers are already on the way Down Under to take part in Queensland's Caloundra Music Festival, and they'll now complement that appearance with a headline show at Max Watt's House Of Music, Sydney, on Thursday 28 September.

The appearance coincides with the 50th anniversary of their first hit, (I Wanna) Testify, and will stand as a celebration of half-a-century's worth of indelibly influencing not only the funk and R&B genres but well beyond, not to mention generations of musicians that have followed in their wake.

Tickets for George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic's Sydney outing are available now via Oztix.
