With big acts like Slayer getting into the fray of Record Store Day, so to are US rockers Garbage with the announcement of their new single, 'The Chemicals'.

'The Chemicals' features a bleak, black and white video clip endorsing the small, sweaty clubs that the band grew up with and started their now-successful career in. This is the first of two songs to be released for the annual date, with the second track being 'On Fire'. As for new music, the band do have plans to record a new album, though no further details regarding a new record have been made public yet.

You can stream the new song below, which also features a guest appearance from Silversun Pickups singer and guitarist, Brain Aubert.
