And the odds shift heavily in the con's favour as a result

National pop-culture convention Supanova has revealed that Game Of Thrones star Natalie Dormer – who also stars in US Sherlock reboot Elementary and the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay flick – has joined its epic line-up of Supastar guests for this November's Adelaide and Brisbane events.

Since landing her breakout role in 2007 as Anne Boleyn in steamy small-screen series The Tudors, Dormer has steadily made a name for herself on the tube and silver screen alike, with roles in titles such as the series Fades and Marvel film Captain America: The First Avenger, before scoring her role as savvy power-player Margaery Tyrell in Game Of Thrones.

She joins previously announced Supastars such as David Hasselhoff, Kristin Bauer van Staten (True Blood), Doctor Who's Neve McIntosh, Eoin Macken and Alexander Vlahos of Merlin fame, James Kyson from Heroes (Unspecial Ando!) and Justified, and True Blood, Stargate: Atlantis and The L Word star Janina Gavankar.

This is Supanova's 12th year of operation, with the expo steadfastly growing year-on-year to achieve its current status among the foremost pop-culture events in the country.
