You'd probably never associate hip hop with the hit television series Game Of Thrones but the two are pairing up, with a mixtape featuring some very prominent rappers waxing lyrical about the show set to be released.
According to The Wall Street Journal, HBO, the channel which airs GOT, have pulled together rappers Big Boi, Wale, Common, Bodega Bamz and reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee to lay down verses based around the show's plot and characters for a ten-track compilation titled Catch The Throne.
The article reports that HBO hope to reach out to a more multicultural audience, particularly with the African-American and Latino communities.
The album is said to be released online this Friday, however no official confirmation has been made.
