Known to fans the world over as Daenerys Targaryen's reliable, strong-and-silent soldier Grey Worm on HBO's Game Of Thrones, UK actor Jacob Anderson has another side you mightn't be aware of: a fledgling music career under the stage name Raleigh Ritchie.
Taking a page out of the book of fellow Thrones cast member Kristian Nairn - himself a DJ of growing repute - Anderson has been quietly flying under the radar for at least the past year crafting tunes influenced by acts such as Erykah Badu, David Bowie, Jill Scott, The Smiths and Stevie Wonder, according to the BBC.
Anderson - or Ritchie, as he'd prefer in this context - signed with Columbia Records last year, releasing his debut solo EP The Middle Child, following it up this year with second EP Black and Blue, which was recently remixed by the internet.
With plans for a full-length album under way, and an expected release date of later this year, it's perhaps understandable why Ritchie chose to pursue a pseudonym in relation to his music career. "I would hate it if somebody thought I was the same as one of those from EastEnders who brings out a single," he told the BBC.
