Yesterday was May the Fourth, yeah yeah we get it, great pun. Move Star Wars day to May 27th, you cowards, the REAL Star Wars day. ANYWAY. Galactic Empire just dropped their cover of the 2021/22 Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett's theme tune. And hell, just because we want to.. enjoy the second Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer too. On Revenge of the Fifth. Yeah Yeah.

More Galactic Empire More Galactic Empire

If you, like me, are SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE VENN DIAGRAM that is Star Wars and heavy music fandom, then you will know Galactic Empire. And you will know how sick it is to be a fan of both.

As fans we are being treated to an absolute RENAISSANCE of new content for both. The sickest heavy music is being released in the last few years - and we are getting a deadset GLUT of new Star Wars content across film, TV and video games at the moment. The past few years has given us The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Jedi: Fallen Order, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, we are about to get the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Andor, an Ahsoka series, and so much more.

The Book of Boba Fett dropped just after Christmas 2021 and ran into early 2022 and brought us new characters and returning favourites including Mando, Grogu, Ahsoka, Luke Slywalker, Peli Motto, Black Krrsantan and Boba on a RANCOR. It was pretty sick, even if Mando pretty well commandeered two entire episodes, and set up season 3 of his own show. Anyway, Galactic Empire celebrated May the Fourth yesterday by dropping this metal cover of the theme tune.

And hey, have a special little gift - the second Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer. This is The Way.
