Renowned festival promoter AJ Maddah has said that the Vans Warped Tour is unlikely to return to Australia this year.

The revelation – though not an explicit death knell for the festival's future Australian prospects – is a sad one for fans of the punk-driven festival, which returned to Australia last year after a lengthy absence, having first made it here back in 1998.
