The venue is reportedly up for sale
Popular Adelaide music venue Sugar Nightclub is reportedly up for sale.
The venue’s owner and operator, Driller Jet Armstrong, has confirmed that, after 13 years, the nightclub is up for sale, according to Rip It Up.
“Contrary to popular belief Sugar has not ever been ‘for sale’ in the 13 year history of the venue. Until today that is,” Armstrong posted on Facebook.
“Don’t be surprised to see the venue listed in the usual places visited by people looking to buy a business.”

The future of the venue as a space for music is yet to be confirmed, but Armstrong ensured it would be business as usual for the time being.
The reason for the sale has not been made public, but follows other Adelaide venues, HQ and Dog & Duck, closing their doors this year.
Sugar Nightclub frequently hosts live music, with a focus on dance.
