Future Classic Announces Studio Party Line-Up

Local prodigy Basenji to join international heavyweights for Vivid LIVE party

International producers Koreless and Stwo will make their Australian debuts alongside local electronic wunderkind Basenji and the Future Classic DJs when the stalwart indie label stages its third Studio Party at Vivid LIVE – presented by The Music – at the Sydney Opera House next month.

From 10pm on Saturday, May 31, fans will be able to party hardy alongside 22-year-old Welshman Koreless, known to his mum as Lewis Roberts, as well as Paris-born, Barcelona-based Stwo, who is moving from strength to strength following a stellar breakout year that saw him drop his first release on LA's HW&W imprint.

Roberts, for his part, has received broad accolades from the likes of Pitchfork and The Guardian as well as artists such as Mount Kimbie and Mark Pritchard, for his lush textures and thoughtful, nuanced arrangements.

Sydneysider Sebastian Carlos, aka Basenji, is no slouch either, being one of Future Classic's most prominent up-and-comers, lauded by triple j and with his track Dawn appearing on Ministry of Sound's latest release, FUT.UR.ISM 2.0.

Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera House runs from May 23 to June 1. Vivid Sydney from May 23-June 9. Tickets are $35 from the Opera House website or on (02) 9250 7777.
