Full 2018 Melbourne Music Week Program Revealed

After dropping the first taste just weeks ago, the full 2018 Melbourne Music Week program has been confirmed. 

From 16-24 November, some of the city's most intriguing and unexpected spaces will be utilised for shows including Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Flemington Bowls Club, the NGV Great Hall and State Library Victoria.

You Am I's epic Town Hall gig will be opened by The Drones' Gareth Liddiard and Clowns, the city's famous Cherry Bar will also host the all-day Civic Sounds party featuring sets from Regurgitator, Nai Palm, Push The Envelope, All The Colours and BATZ.

Elsewhere, Honeysmack and Luke Million will perform at the Meat Market in support of the Melbourne Synth Festival and The Push will celebrate 30 years by bringing back its Push Over party, featuring live shows from Allday, Ali Barter, Ruby Fields and Kian.

The milestone will also be celebrated with some special guest performances by members from Aussie heavyweight bands, Jebediah, Spiderbait and Something for Kate.

The popular MMW: Talks program also returns this year, with free panels and discussions on topics such as ethics in music journalism, Melbourne’s night-time economy, sound healing and music therapy, connecting to the Chinese music market, how to run inclusive music events and more.
