More than 700 events announced

One of the biggest annual events on WA’s entertainment calendar and a pivotal summer sojourn, Fringe World Festival has unleashed its massive 2017 program spanning more than 150 venues across the state, with internationally acclaimed cabaret show Limbo, comedy from Rove McManus, Hannah Gadsby and so much more locked down.

Kicking off Jan 20 and running for 31 days, more than 700 events will consume the city, with comedians, musicians, actors, artists and more coming together for the overwhelming event.

The Pleasure Garden returns to Northbridge as an extremely scenic, carnival-style hangout location with bars, food and a number of pop-up venues, while the festival introduces a new hub in Perth at the Cathedral Square precinct.

“Fringe means something special to so many people in Perth. Audiences love that Fringe World gives them the opportunity to choose their own adventure and find entertainment to enjoy with all the special people in their lives” Festival Director Amber Hasler said.
