FRESH PRINCE featuring Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! and Readable Graffiti

FRESH PRINCE on May 12 features up-and-comers Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! and Readable Graffiti. Say you were there when they go off...

Head on down to Transit Bar this Saturday so that you can say you were there when Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! and Readable Graffiti blew the fucking place up...

TOKYO! DENMARK! SWEDEN!

Formed in mid 2011 and heavily influenced by a shared interest in all things dance/pop/electronic/Macbook Pro, Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! are rising fast from newcomers to dance floor favourites. Having attracted blogger love both at home and overseas and airplay on Triple J and community taste-makers FBi, Triple R, and 4ZZZ, Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! are primed for a big 2012.

The Sydney party-starting upstarts are currently preparing the release of their debut single ‘Little Quarters’, a delectable mash of ethereal strings, throbbing bass lines and dance floor beats. Tokyo! Denmark! Sweden! plan to follow this up with an EP later in the year. These releases and their punchy live sets should confirm a place for T!D!S! amongst Australia’s most exciting up and coming bands.

READABLE GRAFFITI

Their self-titled debut EP was supported by Triple J’s Sound Lab and Home & Hosed, and had rotation and mad love on FBi in Sydney and RRR in Melbourne. Their live show, an energetic and theatrical mix of dance beats and rock posturing, was embraced by audiences at Groovin the Moo, You Are Here Festival, and Summer Rhythm Festival, and earned them support slots for bands like Grafton Primary, Aleks and the Ramps, British India, and Guineafowl.

Supported by resident jam fam: Princi, Architect DJs, Eddie Shaggz, Less Than Three, and Celebrity Sex Tape.
