'SNL' Legend & 'Portlandia' Star Fred Armisen Announces Debut Australian Comedy Tour

For the first time ever, US actor, comic and musician Fred Armisen has announced a headline tour of Australia. 

The Saturday Night Live and Portlandia star will tour his show, Comedy For Musicians But Everyone Is Welcome, throughout the country in August and September, with shows confirmed in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney for the Just For Laughs festival. 

The Grammy and Emmy-nominated comedian's last show, Standup For Drummers, aired on Netflix in 2018. As well as acting roles in Anchorman and Zoolander 2, Armisen is expected to also appear in the forthcoming Jay & Silent Bob reboot. 

Tickets for Armisen's debut Australian shows go on sale from 10am on Monday 15 July.
