Ten new acts have been added to the lineup for this year’s Queenscliff Music Festival (QMF), bringing the full itinerary to a drool-inducing 40 names.
The first 30 acts were announced last month, revealing a packed slate of Australian icons like Something For Kate, Ian Moss, Illy, Boy & Bear, Alice Ivy, Dan Sultan and Jem Cassar-Daley, as well as internationals like G Love & Special Sauce, Aloe Black and Foy Vance.
Adding to the imports will be Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, with this year’s QMF adding to the itinerary for their biggest-ever Australian tour. Joining the UK band will be local legends like Katy Steele and The Merindas, plus up-and-coming acts like Georgia State Line, Raccoon Dog, Burger Joint, Mood Spill, Frank Sultana’s Blues Band, Danika and Graham Moes.
This year’s QMF will mark the festival’s mighty 25th edition, running over four days from Thursday November 23 to Sunday 26 on the lands of the Wadawurrung (on the idyllic Bellarine Peninsula). It’s a family-friendly affair with optional onsite camping, and as part of a partnership with Auslan Stage Left, this year’s festival will feature shows translated into Australian Sign Language.
